Nonna's Cucina is a non-for-profit home delivery meal service, providing support to community members helping them remain independent in their own homes for longer. We have a wonderful group of dedicated staff & volunteers who deliver meals to our consumers and check on their welfare daily.

Our staff spend time with clients in the beginning to let us know about their situation and any dietary requirements. We ask questions regarding their likes and dislikes, how often they want a meal delivered and whether they require meals for weekends. Community members rely on the delivery of a meal which is nutritious and tasty.

Our meals consist of three courses - soup, main & dessert - which can be delivered either hot or frozen to your door. Head over to our menu and see what's on offer!

Prices are $21.00 for Private Clients or $15.00 if referred by My Aged Care. Meals can also be purchased through your Home Care Package once we have been notified by your provider.

Meal Delivery Pricing

There are a few ways you can start getting meals at Nonna's Cucina:

Pay privately and purchase meals directly.
Access government subsidised services to help reduce costs of meals, including:
- The Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP), which provides subsidised meal services for eligible Australians.
- A Support at Home (SAH) Package, which may be used to fund meal services through approved providers.

Gluten-Friendly & Vegetarian Meals

At Nonna’s Cucina, we cater for a range of special diets, including gluten-friendly and vegetarian options, ensuring there are delicious and satisfying meals to suit a variety of dietary preferences. Prepared with quality ingredients and authentic flavours, our meals are designed to be both nutritious and enjoyable, without compromising on taste.

Texture-Modified Meals

We are committed to supporting customers with swallowing and chewing difficulties through our texture-modified meal options. Our menu choices remain the same; however, meals are modified to meet IDDSI standards to suit individual texture requirements. We can cater for a range of texture-modified diets, and your speech pathologist can advise on the most appropriate texture level for your needs. Our focus is on delivering meals that are safe, nutritious, and enjoyable without compromising on quality or taste.

Delivery

Our volunteers and drivers deliver Monday to Friday between 11am and 1:30pm to the areas marked in RED

We also deliver weekly to the areas marked in ORANGE

If you are outside of our delivery area, contact the office to see if there are any other options for meal delivery or pickup from our office.

Holiday Service Notice:

Please note that Nonna's Cucina does not deliver on public holidays and may be closed during Christmas and New Year. Clients can arrange to receive frozens meals in advance or collect frozen meals directly from our office during this period.
