Nonna's Cucina pursues the vision:

To be a provider of meals and a point of contact to enhance lifestyle choices of people in the community who are frail, aged, or have a disability.

Nonna’s Cucina is a community based service providing home style cooked meals to the aged and people with disabilities. We are committed to providing meals that are both nutritionally balanced and full of traditional, home style flavour. Operating in line with Australian and New Zealand food safety standards, and with HACCP accreditation, we ensure every meal is prepared safely and to the highest quality, supported by our trained and dedicated team. Our meals consist of a soup, main course, and dessert, and are delivered Monday to Friday between 11:00am and 1:30pm. We also offer frozen meal options for weekends, evenings, and public holidays, as well as meals and catering services for the wider community.

Our meals are bursting with flavour & nutrition and are cooked fresh daily by our team of talented chefs. The family atmosphere in our kitchen provides a friendly happy place to work, which drives our commitment in meeting our clients needs.

Nonna's Cucina is predominantly volunteer based engaging, over 100 volunteers in a number of roles. Our volunteers are dedicated to service excellence and add a personal touch when delivering our meals. Volunteers will contact staff if there is a problem when delivering a meal to a client, and staff will ensure the family is informed or emergency services are contacted if needed.

Nonna's Cucina is a HACCP approved meal provider, meaning we maintain the highest standard of food safety and hygiene. Nonna's Cucina follows the Australian & New Zealand Food Safety Program and is audited annually by the Health Department in addition to our annual HACCP audit.

We also have regular checks through the local council of Charles Sturt and we are dedicated to ensuring the safety of our services for our community.
