Celebrating Our Volunteers at the Volunteering SA&NT Awards Night

Last night, we had the incredible honour of attending the Volunteering SA&NT Awards Night, a truly inspiring evening dedicated to recognising the amazing individuals who generously give their time and hearts to support our communities.

We are thrilled to share that two of our dedicated volunteers, Nancy and Rosa, were nominated for the prestigious Joy Noble Medal Award, which recognises outstanding individual volunteers in South Australia. Their compassion, commitment, and tireless efforts have made a lasting impact on those around them, and this nomination is a wonderful acknowledgment of their contribution.

A special congratulations also goes to our General Manager, Dario, who was nominated for the Excellence in Volunteer Management Award. Dario’s leadership, advocacy for volunteers, and unwavering support behind the scenes have played a pivotal role in fostering a positive and empowering environment for our entire volunteer team.

We are incredibly proud of Nancy, Rosa, and Dario, and their nominations are just a glimpse of the remarkable people we’re lucky to have in our organisation. Every volunteer brings something unique and valuable, and together, they create a ripple effect of kindness and support that touches countless lives.

As National Volunteer Week comes to a close, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to each and every one of our volunteers. Your time, your heart, and your dedication are what fuel our mission and drive real, positive change every single day.
