What a Morning at Nonna’s Cucina!
)
We had an unforgettable morning at Nonna’s Cucina as we welcomed some very special guests to our sit in Holden Hill.
It was an absolute honour to host Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, Foreign Affairs Minister Penny Wong, Senator for SA, South Australian Premier Peter Malinauskas, and Claire Clutterham, Labor for Sturt. Their visit was not only a recognition of the work we do, but also a chance to share the heart and soul behind Nonna’s Cucina, our love for food, family, and community.
During their visit, we talked about what drives us every day: nourishing our community through authentic home-style meals, made with care and served with dignity. We were thrilled to give them a behind-the-scenes look at how our kitchen operates and the impact we strive to make across South Australia.
In even more exciting news, we’re proud to share that a re-elected Labor Government has pledged $95,000 to support the final stages of our new home at Holden Hill! This investment will help us complete the new facility and ensure we can continue — and expand — our vital community services.
We’re deeply grateful for this recognition and support. It’s moments like these that remind us why we do what we do.
From all of us at Nonna’s Cucina, thank you for being part of this journey.
